While the City Maintenance Department does maintain the ice rink, if we are getting high or frequent amounts of snow, city streets clearing and maintaining are a higher priority than clearing the ice rink. If any Shafer resident would like to assist in helping maintain the rink, the City would welcome your help! Thank you
