Shafer Days
Shafer Days is an annual celebration, held September 16th to 17th. Activities include: parade, fireman’s dance, car show, coronation, treasure hunt, bingo, music, tractor show, food, vendors, and the lawn mower tractor pulls. The city of Shafer Parks sponsor National Night Out, the first Tuesday in August. The Shafer/Franconia Fire Department, Chisago County Sheriff’s Department, the Shafer Council and Parks, all pull together to make this yearly event a safe learning opportunity for the Shafer residents.
